I'm sure that if I heard it, I wouldn't probably believe it. Nevertheless, there is nothing that encourages people as much as cardio pictures to get fit and in fit shape. I know how skeptical people are about motivational pics. Everyone has seen that ridiculous poster on the walls of their cubicles - someone climbing a mountain with some caption about "determination", or "excellence" under it, or some little kitten hanging on to the edge of a desk with her claws, beneath which is written, in cutesy bubbly letters, "hold on". It's considered poor taste even to put such thing up - unless you're a middle manager, wherein bad taste is considered avirtue. Nevertheless, at least with cardiovascular pictures, it is true. The right picture can really get people going. I should know. I am a manager at the Skinny Booty Fitness club downtown, and among my assorted obligations is decorating the walls. It has given me a good deal of time to pay attention to people in their workout plan, and the differences that those aerobic photos make is extraordinary. I discovered this when I was studying to be a fitness trainer and I noticed that the pages in my study guide that had photos of aerobic people inspired me to push harder. Since I put up the cardiovascular pictures, however, things have been a lot different. It's like the aerobic photos give everyone a burst of confidence that makes them practically shine. I know the gleam of sweat, and can tell it from the glisten of confidence. This here is the gleam of confidence. They look at those cardiovascular pics and stand up straighter, work that much harder, and I believe, go home feeling better about them-selves. Even the aerobic exercise classes seem to go better with the pics around the room. I have even taken down my other inspirational posters and put up the cardiovascular pictures around my cubicle in the fitness center. Even when I'm not working out, the pictures of fit, trim people doing their aerobics workout program seems to convince me to put a little bit more into whatever I'm working on at the moment. You do not need to be interested in a career in personal training to take advantage of this content. There are many types of decorations which are prettier, more interesting, and more eye-catching than cardiovascular pictures, but I have yet to find one that has a better effect on the work ethic.
